Happy St. Paddy’s! 39th Annual FM 1960 Saint Patrick’s Parade in Houston, TX

Is it true that : “Everyone Loves a Parade”?? I do!!

March 12, 2017 was the 30th Annual FM 1960 Saint Patrick’s Parade in Houston, Texas.  I just happened to hit it right and be nearby – yea! Best part is I got a great seat and parking spot right next to someone playing my kind music! As Houstonian’s also love Mardi Gras there were TONS of colorful beads being thrown from the parade participants along with candy that was a huge hit with all the kids!!

Ok, I lied…best part???? Seeing the Budweiser Clydesdales!!!! I’ve always wanted to see them in person so that was a real treat! They’re soooo pretty!!!

Had to show this – it was literally hovering right over my head!
This man was hilarious selling his St. Paddy’s day goods!
Has a St. Paddy’s Day Parade without Bagpipes?! Yea!
So happy I got to see the Budweiser Clydesdales!!
Aren’t they gorgeous!!
Lucky  Candy!
Loved her enthusiasm for the Parade!
There’s plenty of Mardi Gras beads to go around for the kiddos!
I sometimes feel I need a cart this size to shop!
The kids on this fire truck had a blast tossing candy and beads!
I want one of these! 🙂
Glad the community was so involved!

These kids were flipping around the entire parade! Bet they’ll sleep well tonight!

Max and I will leave you with this Irish Blessing… and Thanks for visiting!!!

St. Paddy’s Day Max

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
