Industrial Country Market aka Quirky Country Market (Off the grid!) in Columbus, Texas

Remember folks…you heard it here first 🙂 … Today’s epic adventure took me to the Quirky Country Market.  The business was initially named Industrial Country Market but too many people didn’t realize it was opened to the public, due to the word industrial, so they are changing over to Quirky Country Market.  This place is ONLY opened on the weekends and is “off the grid”…there are a ton of solar panels to accomplish going off the grid –  Love that!!!

Watch for the sign as I can see driving past it if you don’t know about the store.

Plenty of rocking chairs to just relax and take it all in as Savannah and Valerie Page were doing with their pups.

Owners, Dan and Michele Bretch were super friendly and fun to chat with.

  1. Great post. We enjoy seeing the use of alternative energy at work. We are seeing massive solar units in the south powering companies. There is room for all responsible energy sources in our opinion.
