Birding In Houston, Texas – A Hodge Podge Of Recent Birds

(Above photo:  English sparrow)

Thanks to my friends at the Amand Bayou Nature Center for helping me determine what kind of birds a lot of these are!!! They are such a lovely group of people!!! Thank you for always being willing to help!!! Birding in Texas has become somewhat of a new hobby for me so I need plenty of assistance trying to identify them all still!

FUREVER HOMES NEEDED FOR

ADORABLE KITTENS!!!!!

If you live in the Houston/Cypress Area and are looking for a FREE, adorable, kitten that is litterbox trained, they are ready to leave their momma!  Please send me an email at HoustonPhotoJourney@gmail.com and please type the word KITTEN in the subject line.  Responsible and loving homes only please!! My sister and her hubby found a stray cat giving birth in their garage, but now the time has come to say hello to new furever homes!!! They are taking momma kitty to get fixed and the cute babies all need good, loving homes!!! Help!!

Meet “Orphan Annie”  She is about 8 weeks old and was found on the side of the road and thankfully the existing Momma that gave birth in my sister’s garage, adopted and nursed little “Orphan Annie” in addition to her own babies! She’s a bit skittish but will warm up after you spend a little more time with her.

Ms. Feisty here is the last of the original kitties that Garage Birthing Kitty had – she will take a bit of work to trust you and probably not a lap kitty but she’s adorable and fun to watch!

Thanks!
